RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Last updated: 12 August 2026
At Lidian Viintake, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights when purchasing goods from LidianViintake.store, including your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit, exclude or replace any rights you may have under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
1. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL AN ONLINE ORDER
If you are a consumer purchasing goods online, you generally have a legal right to change your mind and cancel your order without giving a reason.
You have 14 days from the day you receive your goods to inform us that you wish to cancel your order.
If an order contains multiple goods delivered separately, the cancellation period generally begins when you receive the last item covered by the order, where applicable under UK law.
After notifying us of your decision to cancel, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
To exercise your right to cancel, please contact us at:
Email: contact@lidianviintake.store
Website: LidianViintake.store
Your cancellation request should clearly state that you wish to cancel your purchase. Please include your order number and sufficient information for us to identify your order.
2. RETURNS
When exercising your right to cancel, returned goods should be sent back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you notify us of your cancellation.
You may inspect and handle the goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in a similar way to how you would examine them in a physical shop.
For clothing, this generally means that you may try an item on to determine its fit and appearance.
Please take reasonable care of products while they are in your possession.
3. CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS
Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel, we may make an appropriate deduction from your refund for any reduction in the value of the goods caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, where permitted by law.
Whenever possible, please return products:
-
Clean and in reasonable condition;
-
With their original tags and labels attached;
-
With any accessories supplied with the product; and
-
In their original packaging where reasonably possible.
The absence of original packaging does not automatically remove your statutory rights.
4. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
Where you are returning an item simply because you have changed your mind, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, provided that you were informed of this responsibility before entering into the contract.
Please contact contact@lidianviintake.store before sending your return so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions and return address.
Do not send a return to an address shown on a parcel without first following the return instructions provided by our customer service team.
If goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to conform to the contract, your statutory rights apply and you will not be required to bear return costs where UK law requires those costs to be borne by us.
5. REFUNDS FOR CANCELLED ORDERS
Where you validly exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund the payments due to you in accordance with applicable UK law.
For returned goods, we may withhold the refund until:
-
We receive the goods back; or
-
You provide evidence that you have sent the goods back,
whichever occurs first.
Once the applicable conditions have been met, refunds will be processed without undue delay and within the period required by UK law.
6. ORIGINAL DELIVERY COSTS
Where you cancel the entire order under your statutory cancellation rights, we will refund the standard outbound delivery charge paid by you, where required by law.
If you selected a delivery method that was more expensive than our least expensive standard delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional amount paid for that premium delivery service.
For example, if standard delivery was available but you chose Express Delivery, the refundable delivery amount may be limited to the cost of the standard delivery option.
7. REFUND METHOD
Unless otherwise agreed, refunds will normally be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
You will not be charged a fee by us solely for receiving a refund.
The time it takes for the refunded amount to appear in your account after we issue it may depend on your bank, card provider or payment service provider.
8. FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT GOODS
Your statutory rights are separate from your right to change your mind.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied to consumers must meet applicable legal requirements, including being:
-
Of satisfactory quality;
-
Fit for their intended or agreed purpose; and
-
As described.
If an item is faulty, damaged, materially different from its description or otherwise does not conform to the contract, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at contact@lidianviintake.store.
Please provide:
-
Your order number;
-
Your name;
-
A description of the issue; and
-
Photographs or other reasonable evidence of the problem, where appropriate and available.
Requesting photographs helps us assess the issue efficiently but does not remove any statutory rights you may have.
9. 30-DAY SHORT-TERM RIGHT TO REJECT
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumers may have a short-term right to reject goods that do not conform to the contract within 30 days, subject to the conditions and exceptions established by law.
Where this statutory right applies, you may be entitled to reject the goods and receive a refund.
This statutory right is different from the 14-day cancellation right applicable to many distance contracts.
10. FAULTS DISCOVERED AFTER 30 DAYS
Your consumer rights do not necessarily end after 30 days.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, if goods develop a fault after the short-term right to reject has expired, you may be entitled to remedies such as:
-
Repair;
-
Replacement;
-
Price reduction; or
-
A final right to reject the goods.
The remedy available will depend on the circumstances and the requirements of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Nothing in this policy reduces these statutory rights.
11. SALE AND DISCOUNTED ITEMS
Goods purchased during a sale, promotion or with a discount remain covered by your statutory consumer rights.
A product being discounted does not, by itself, remove your rights if the product is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to conform to the contract.
However, you may not be entitled to rely on a fault that was specifically disclosed to you before purchase and which formed the basis on which the goods were supplied.
12. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT TO CANCEL
Certain products may be excluded from the statutory right to cancel where UK law provides an exception.
Depending on the products sold, this may include, for example:
-
Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised;
-
Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; and
-
Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken after delivery.
An exception will only be applied where permitted by applicable law.
Your rights concerning faulty or non-conforming goods remain unaffected.
13. EXCHANGES
If you would like a different size, colour or product, please contact us at contact@lidianviintake.store.
Where an exchange is offered, availability will depend on current stock.
An exchange procedure offered by Lidian Viintake does not restrict your statutory right to cancel or your statutory remedies for faulty or non-conforming goods.
14. DAMAGED GOODS DURING DELIVERY
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Where the delivery was arranged by Lidian Viintake, responsibility for the goods remains subject to the applicable rules concerning delivery and passing of risk under UK consumer law.
Please retain the product and, where possible, its packaging until we provide further instructions.
15. WRONG ITEM RECEIVED
If we send you an item that is different from what you ordered, please contact us at:
We will provide appropriate instructions and, where required, arrange the applicable remedy without charging you for costs for which we are legally responsible.
16. RETURN ADDRESS
Please contact our customer service team before returning an item.
Once your return request has been reviewed, we will provide you with the appropriate return address and instructions.
Do not return products without obtaining the applicable return instructions first, as this may cause unnecessary delays in identifying and processing your return.
This procedure does not restrict any statutory rights available to you.
17. LOST RETURNS
If you are responsible for arranging a return, we recommend using a trackable postal or courier service and retaining proof of postage until your refund has been completed.
This helps establish that the goods were returned and allows the shipment to be traced if necessary.
18. CANCELLING BEFORE DISPATCH
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible at:
Where possible, we will attempt to stop the order before dispatch.
If the order has already been dispatched, you may still be able to exercise your statutory cancellation rights after receiving the goods.
19. ORDER CANCELLATION BY LIDIAN VIINTAKE
In limited circumstances, we may need to cancel an order, for example where:
-
A product is unavailable;
-
There is an obvious pricing or listing error that legally permits cancellation;
-
We cannot deliver to the supplied address;
-
Payment cannot be properly authorised; or
-
We are legally prohibited from completing the transaction.
Where we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will refund amounts due to you in accordance with applicable law.
20. YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS
This policy is intended to operate alongside your statutory rights and not replace them.
Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under UK consumer protection law.
Depending on the transaction, relevant legislation may include:
-
Consumer Rights Act 2015;
-
Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013; and
-
Other applicable UK consumer protection legislation and regulations, as amended from time to time.
If there is any conflict between this policy and a mandatory requirement of applicable consumer law, the mandatory legal requirement will prevail.
